Naturopathy

Are you looking for help to get to the bottom of your health issues? I can work with you to identify what might be causing your problems, come up with a treatment approach and help improve your wellbeing in the long term.

Cecelia a naturopath in Ipswich Queensland is holding a nutritional supplement bottle and explaining about it to one of her patients. She is wearing an orange blouse and has her hair tied up using a claw clip.

What I can help with

As a naturopath, some of the things I can help with are:

  • pregnancy nutrition

  • fertility (for women and couples)

  • milk supply

  • vaginal health (e.g. thrush, BV, strep B, HPV)

  • gestational diabetes

  • anxiety and depression

  • iron deficiency

  • irregular menstrual cycles

  • thyroid concerns

  • children’s health

  • maintaining a healthy weight

  • gut problems

  • menopause

How it works

  • Naturopathy is a holistic and complementary approach to healthcare. I use dietary and lifestyle suggestions as well as herbal and nutritional medicine to help you achieve your health goals. We will work together to create a treatment plan for you that meets your health needs today, and considers what you might require in the future.

I have a particular passion for helping women turn their stories of frustration with their health and hormones to empowerment. I can also support your broader family’s health, through children’s appointments or joint appointments for couples trying for a baby.

I can order and review standard and specialised pathology testing, which often provides important context about your health journey. I am data-driven in my approach and only use research-backed testing methods from credible laboratories like QML. I will only order tests for you if they are needed in addition to any recent results you already have.

Supplement and testing costs are additional and subject to your requirements. I have a fully stocked herbal dispensary, meaning that if you require treatment with herbs, you can start right away.

  • The first appointment will be about an hour, with follow up appointments being 30 minutes. Your first few appointments will be between 2-4 weeks apart.

Depending on the level of support you need, you may only require 1-2 appointments. Some patients with more complex needs will see me for 6-10 appointments per year.

Usually as treatment progresses your appointments become further apart. Once they start applying their treatment plan, most of my patients start to see improvements within a month.

    • Knowing more about how your body works

    • Understanding where your issues have come from and what you can do about them

    • Dietary and lifestyle tips personalised to your body and situation

    • Feeling heard in your frustrations and concerns about your health

    • Strategies you can continue to use long after we’ve stopped working together

Appointment types

  • First appointment for new adult patients or existing patients who haven’t had an appointment for 12 months. This is a comprehensive assessment of your health history and current health problems. You will receive a detailed treatment plan following the session. Available in person or online.

    Allow 60 minutes.

    $200

  • First appointment for children under 12. This is shorter than an adult appointment as children usually have less medical history. You will receive a detailed treatment plan following the session. Available in person or online.

    Allow 45 minutes.

    $150

  • After an initial appointment, you can book follow up appointments to check on your treatment progress and get treatment plan updates. We can also address changes in your health and adjust your diet, lifestyle, and supplement goals. Available in person or online.

    Allow 30 minutes.

    $110

  • This appointment is appropriate if it has been 12 months or longer since your last appointment. It may also be used to discuss the findings from extra testing and adjust your treatment plan to suit your goals and needs.

    Allow 60 minutes

    $150

  • Existing patients can book an express appointment for issues that require timely treatment, such as colds/flus, viruses and UTIs. You’ll receive simple instructions for treatment and we’ll use remedies available in my clinic if needed. You can attend in person if you don’t have a contagious illness, otherwise appointments are also available online or via phone. Remedies can be picked up or sent via express post.

    Allow 15 minutes.

    $90

  • It takes eggs and sperm to make a baby. My preferred approach to fertility is to address both partners’ health at the same time to help relieve the burden that women often feel. This is a longer first appointment for couples seeing me together for the first time, or for couples who haven’t had an appointment for 12 months. You will get a joint treatment plan to implement together. Available in person or online.

    Allow 90 minutes.

    $350

  • After a couples initial appointment, you can book a follow up to check in on your treatment progress and fertility goals. We can update your joint treatment plan and adjust your diet, lifestyle, and supplement goals as needed. Available in person or online.

    Allow 45 minutes.

    $200

  • If it has been over 12 months since your last couples appointment, you can book a long follow up to check in on your treatment progress and fertility goals. We can update your joint treatment plan and adjust your diet, lifestyle, and supplement goals as needed.

    Allow 75 minutes
